District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC)
Monthly meeting led by the Learning and Development Department focused on serving our English Language Learners.

Chaperone field trips
A valid copy of your driver’s license or identification, updated TB test, and up-to-date proof of COVID-19 vaccination will be required. If you do not submit an up-to-date proof of COVID-19 vaccination, you will be required to submit to a COVID-19 test, each week you plan to volunteer with MUSD students and staff.
Tuberculosis (TB) test results must be on file for volunteers that are:
Ongoing, long term: Volunteering at the school regularly, more than once a year
At school: Volunteering on school grounds or in the classroom, has access to privileged information
Face-to-face: Volunteering with direct contact with students
All volunteers who would like to work in the classroom need to have a current clear TB test on file with the school. TB test results are valid for four years. Parents with a current TB test on file do not have to provide additional copies of the clearance form. Updated test results can be turned in to the school office.
Fingerprinting clearance through MUSD must be on file for volunteers that are:
Alone: Volunteering as the sole adult with students, unsupervised with students (i.e., during a field trip)
There is a processing fee of $19 (cash or check written to MUSD) and will need to be scheduled through the HR Department at the District Office, 1331 E. Calaveras Blvd., Building 100.
